Holy cow what a hidden gem in Austin. One of the best chinese spots especially for their dumplings! This one of the only spot I know here that does the shenzhen baos and it was seriously comparable to the ones even in california. It was juicy on the inside perfectly soft and pillow at the top, and crisp at the bottom. The snowflake dumpling with shrimp and chives- also very good. It was crispy, and so juicy on the inside as well. The tomato pork noodle- the broth was a bit too sweet for me but the noodle texture as well as the meat was good. Its self order here through a QR code, and the food comes out relatively quick. They even have lemon water which is also a plus. I would 10/10 highly recommend- best dumpling spot in Atx.

New authentic Chinese restaurant in Austin! The soup dumplings were my favorite and then the tofu! The green beans were also perfectly cooked and so flavorful! The spicy beef noodle soup was also a favorite of mine, I would order this again. Cumin beef and the hot oil wontons were my least favorite. The dishes do not include rice... you'll have to order that separately, which is unusual to me. There's contactless ordering here. You scan the tables QR code and place your order(s). Afterwards, they bring you the card machine to pay. Pretty big restaurant with a lot of tables. This is a big group friendly restaurant. I will be visiting again!

Everything we ate was beyond amazing! Especially we were very impressed with soup dumplings. I believe that was absolutely one of the best in Texas! I definitely want to come back and eat more delicious food here. Additionally I liked we could look at the chefs making dumplings in the deep inside of the restaurant. It tells how fresh the dumplings are. Ordering system is a bit of work if you don't like technology. Because you have to sign up their online order system even though it's dining in. But it's all worth for the flavorful yummy food!

Ok I've been meaning to come here but I heard it gets packed and there is always a line and no seating and that it gets hot in here lol so glad I finally made it here. I almost gave it 5 stars but the only thing holding me back is the price per item. It's on the high side much like many places in Austin. I feel it can lower a bit to accommodate. Also ordering wasn't as easy as it should be. I get it. No menus only QR code but WiFi was bad in there and the our phones in the corner weren't registering so it took awhile to pull up the menu to order. And yes even though no wait that day the waiters were all busy so they didn't come by until a bit. Which is ok because we couldn't pull up the menus anyways. And there are so many things to try so with only 2 people it was hard to order but we ordered way more than we can eat just to try our favorites. Had to get their infamous pan fried buns some boiled dumplings and I love leek pies. Hard to find so had to get that. Also must get a noodle since they say they hand pull. It came out nice and fresh and wow ok got to say we LOVE the noodle texture. It's so chewy. It's probably the best noodle chowmein in town. And we are noodle dumpling connoisseurs lol but we loved these noodles! So good! Would come back out for the noodles! The boiled dumplings were good. They are legit. But they also tasted like any legit pork dumplings. I am pretty sure they get it from somewhere or someone makes mass for them. They may sell them I see in their fridge in the future. They were good! The leek pie was good! Not the best I had. I loved one in Houston where I get my leek pancake fix. These are good passable. The pie part isn't what I am used to. More dough than crispy. Ok the pan fried buns we had to get because I have heard mixed reviews of them. Lots of doughy texture if you like that. My daughter loved it! It was unique and hot. Juice flowed out. Good sign lol I liked it but it's just not for me but don't get me wrong it is worth a try! That's the food! The atmosphere is nice. Like to see lots of Asians in there and locals trying it out. Waiters were courteous even though some had broken English they were kind and our waiter even gave my ice to bag my leftovers since I said I wanted to take it home for my crew to try but will be out for the day. The area is ok. Lots of parking. All in all it was a great delicious experience. Yes the price point is high but they have niche here in town and they know it. It was good and I will be back especially for the noodles. That is unique to me. Chewy. Loved it!

This is the best authentic Chinese food in Austin. The environment and services are really good. I love the sweet sour pork, it's my favorite dish. The rice noodles series are also worth to try. (This is the best hometown food to me)

Ever since I saw a new dumpling spot open up north, I've wanted to come out and try this spot. I came directly from work on a weekday before 5 pm, so we beat any dinner rush; there was no wait. We were sat immediately! My friend and I ordered a variety of dumplings since everyone on social media was raving about all the dumplings that they had on the menu. We ordered the red chili oil wontons, pork, shrimp, and chive pan fried dumplings, and soup dumplings. I think Special Noodle has the best dumplings in Austin now. The soup dumplings have just the right amount of thinness in the wrapper ratio, while the pork, shrimp, and chive dumplings have the right amount of crispness and flavor profile in the filling. The wontons were great but could have a bit more sauce added. The last item we ordered were of course noodles. We ordered the braised pork belly with noodle soup. I felt like the braised pork belly had a lot of dynamic flavor however the noodles in the soup was lacking. I would probably not order this dish again. Its been awhile since we came to visit but I'd highly recommend going with a small group to try more dishes.

A very unique and authentic Chinese restaurant in Lake Creek area. Referred by a foodie friend, we decided to try for ourselves. Order from the QR code and check out their amazing menu. Get the wife password from the host. Love the service, the decor and the meatless choices. We usually order 3-4 entries to get a feel for the food quality. Yet this time we ate lite. I ordered a combo fried rice. Lots of protein inside and the rice had an amazing flavor. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The Mrs's order a beef Udon, I think. My apologies if it got this wrong. I was so focused on my food, I had to be reminded to review the meal. Over all it was a wonderful experience. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.
